China
Program :: Building Your Dossier
Your
Dossier is the “story of you” told through all the
documents, background clearances, verifications, references and
pictures you have sent New Life, along with your home study which explains
who you are as individuals, as a couple and as parents. Your home
study also recommends you for an international adoption. Your
dossier must accurately represent you as an adoptive parent to
the China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA); it is used to match
you with your child. It is critical that there be no mistakes,
no miss information or missed information; that is why New Life
will build your dossier for you.
NEW LIFE WILL:
- Carefully review your paperwork to make sure it meets China's
requirements
- Authenticate all of your paperwork
- Build your Dossier per China's stipulations and complete
a quality control check
- Through International Express Mail Ship and Track your Dossier
to China
New Life has never had a qualified family’s dossier rejected
by CCAA. One reason dossiers are returned is that they
are not properly completed, and that causes delays which could
require you redoing documents at an additional expense.
We understand the need for your dossier to be done right the
first time, and submitted to China in a timely manner. You can
rely on us to build your dossier in a professional manner that
will meet China’s requirements.
New Life will make sure all the documents in your dossier are
properly completed, current, certified and authenticated. New
Life begins building your dossier from the submission of your
Adoption Application until we receive your I171H from USCIS that
approves you for an international adoption. We will also have
your I171H authenticated by the Chinese Consulate. We will
review your dossier carefully as a team to ensure that every
item on our quality control check list has been completed.
Once your dossier is prepared New Life will write the necessary
agency recommendation as an attachment and send it to CCAA
via international express mail service. We will track the shipment
until we have confirmation of delivery. Our Agency representative
in China will be notified, and will contact CCAA on behalf of you
and the agency. You will receive a letter from us letting you know
the date your Dossier was logged in at CCAA. That date is important
as it confirms you have officially entered CCAA’s
review process, and it begins your Waiting Period.
